MLK Scholars: Emily Kim '26 and Justin Andries '23
On Martin Luther King Jr. Day, get to know two recipients of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. scholarship, Emily Kim '26 and Justin Andries '23. Kim, an undeclared student in the Honors Program, describes her work on the MLK Convocation Committee. Andries, who designed his own individualized major in global health equity, discusses his research on fruit fly and ant metabolism with James Waters, Ph.D., associate professor of biology, as well as the way his semester abroad with Civ in London has impacted his graduate school plans.
