By standard measures, accountancy major Paul Mecurio ’82 was leading a successful life as a lawyer and investment banker on Wall Street. But after a chance encounter with Jay Leno, the Providence native found himself living a double life — managing mergers and acquisitions by day and performing stand-up at night.
